This findings of this study will be shared with regulators, insurers, policy makers, general public, those who participated, and also published in internationally read peer reviewed publications.
We know that good research is vital to provide the backing for decision makers to make future changes and provides the necessary proof for change to occur. However, this means that we are unable to make changes directly ourselves, as this study is completely independently funded and not managed by any of the entities that process claims or make the policy decisions around the workers’ compensation system.
This does present great benefits for the Workers’ Voice study, as no decision makers or stakeholders are dictating the results and therefore we (the researchers) will be able to present the findings with impartiality and lack of bias.
